Zoom Integration Guidline
Chuzeday Zoom Integration — User Guide
The Chuzeday Zoom integration lets solo service businesses offer online appointments. Once you connect your Zoom account, every Video Consultation booking on Chuzeday automatically generates a unique Zoom meeting, shares the join link with your client, and keeps the meeting in sync if the booking changes.
This guide explains how to add the app, how to use it, and how to remove it.
Adding the App
Follow these steps to connect Zoom to your Chuzeday business account:
Log in to your Chuzeday business account at business.chuzeday.com.
Open Setup from the left sidebar.
Scroll to the Integrations section and select Zoom Integration.
Click Connect Zoom Account.
You will be redirected to Zoom's secure OAuth authorization page.
Sign in with your Zoom account and click Allow to grant Chuzeday the requested permissions.
You will be returned to Chuzeday. The integration page will now show Connected, along with the email address of your linked Zoom account.
Once connected, every new Video Consultation booking automatically creates a matching Zoom meeting.
Prerequisites
An active Chuzeday business account.
A Zoom account (Free or paid).
At least one service configured as a Video Consultation type in your Chuzeday service settings.
If the connection does not complete, see the Troubleshooting section below.
Usage
Use case: When a client books a Video Consultation appointment with your business on Chuzeday, the system automatically schedules a Zoom meeting on your behalf and distributes the meeting links to the right people.
What happens after connecting
A unique Zoom meeting link is created for every Video Consultation booking.
The client receives the Zoom join link in their booking confirmation email.
You (the business owner) see the Zoom host/start link in your appointment and calendar view.
If a booking is rescheduled, the Zoom meeting time is updated automatically.
If a booking is cancelled, the associated Zoom meeting is deleted automatically.
Prerequisites for this feature
Your Zoom account must be connected (status shows Connected under Setup → Integrations → Zoom Integration).
The booked service must be set to the Video Consultation type.
Permissions (scopes) used
meeting:write — to create, update, and delete the scheduled Zoom meetings tied to your bookings.
user:read — to confirm the identity of the connected Zoom account and display your Zoom email on the integration page.
Chuzeday requests only the scopes required to deliver this functionality and does not access your Zoom recordings, contacts, or unrelated account data.
Troubleshooting
A Zoom link was not generated for a booking
Confirm your Zoom account is still connected under Setup → Integrations → Zoom Integration.
If the status shows Disconnected, click Connect Zoom Account to re-authorize.
Verify the booked service is set to the Video Consultation type.
Zoom (OAuth) authorization fails
Make sure you are signing in with a valid, active Zoom account.
Clear your browser cookies and cache, then try connecting again.
Try a different browser or disable browser extensions that may block pop-ups or redirects.
If the problem continues, contact us at [email protected].
Removing the App
You can disconnect Zoom from within Chuzeday, and/or remove Chuzeday from your Zoom account entirely.
Step 1 — Disconnect within Chuzeday
Log in to your Chuzeday business account.
Go to Setup → Integrations → Zoom Integration.
Click Disconnect Zoom.
Confirm the disconnection in the prompt.
Step 2 — Remove the app from your Zoom account (recommended for full removal)
Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Click Manage in the top-right corner.
Select Added Apps from the left menu.
Find Chuzeday and click Remove.
Confirm removal. This revokes Chuzeday's access to your Zoom account entirely.
Implications of removal and how your data is handled
No new Zoom meeting links will be generated for future Video Consultation bookings.
Zoom meetings that were already created will not be deleted from your Zoom account; you can manage or remove them directly in Zoom.
When you disconnect, or when you remove the app from the Zoom Marketplace, Zoom notifies Chuzeday and your stored Zoom OAuth tokens are immediately revoked and permanently deleted from Chuzeday's servers.
After removal, Chuzeday retains no ability to access your Zoom account.
You can reconnect at any time by repeating the steps in the Adding the App section.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a paid Zoom account? No. The integration works with both Free and paid Zoom accounts. Zoom's own plan limits (such as meeting duration on the Free plan) still apply.
Who can start the meeting? As the business owner, you start the meeting using the host link shown in your appointment/calendar view. Your client joins using the link in their confirmation email.
What happens to meetings I already created if I disconnect? They remain in your Zoom account. Disconnecting only stops Chuzeday from creating or updating future meetings; it does not delete existing ones.
Does Chuzeday access my Zoom recordings or contacts? No. Chuzeday only uses the permissions listed under Usage to create and manage the meetings tied to your bookings.
How do I re-authorize if my connection stopped working? Go to Setup → Integrations → Zoom Integration and click Connect Zoom Account to reconnect.
